The frame is cast iron. The key action is rehearsal. There are 3 pedals: 2 pedals are traditional; the middle pedal lifts the dampers and lowers them as soon as the key returns to its original position. The case is tinted fossil ivory. The instrument is purchased for use in museum concerts.
