The acting double rehearsal mechanism of the “white” upright piano key together with the damper is mounted on the bed frame made of mahogany. The mechanism consists of a number of parts, which include: wooden (carved and turned) parts of various configurations; metal screws, nails, nuts, rods, axles, springs; a wooden-felt hammer and a damper; felt and leather pads. The whole mechanism is triggered by pressing the first key lever. The process of interaction of the listed parts takes place before the observer’s eyes. The movement ends with the hammer striking against the string
